ELHS Teacher Receives National Recognition

Dawn Martin, who works at East Limestone High School, was awarded Math Model Classroom by the Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., based company of Renaissance Learning.  Model Classroom certification indicates that Martin's efforts to adopt Renaissance Best Classroom Practices to a high degree have resulted in measurable improvements in student performance. 

 "Dawn exemplifies the kind of commitment to the success of every student that is at the heart of effective teaching," said Judi Paul, Chairman of the Board at Renaissance Learning. 

Dr. Barry Carroll, Superintendent of Limestone County Schools, states, "I would like to join Renaissance Learning in recognizing Ms. Dawn Brown for her dedication to the students at East Limestone High School. She goes above and beyond what is expected to ensure student success. We are proud that Dawn Brown is a member of the Limestone County School family."
