Blue Springs Elementary students participate in Be a Champion READ

Blue Springs Read

Roll Tide or War Eagle?

Blue Springs Elementary School students are ready for the Be a Champion Read contest, sponsored by the American Education Association. The Clements High School cheerleaders were on campus to help them kick-things off with a pep rally.

The contest challenges students in kindergarten through sixth grade to read 6 reading-level appropriate books before the end of October. Those who complete the task qualify for a chance to win a trip to the Iron Bowl.

Stay tuned to see if they can reach their goal of 1,200 books and hold Mr. Baker to his promise of dressing as a clown.
