SUPER RECOGNITION: Superintendent Dr. Randy Shearouse and board members had the pleasure of recognizing the latest group of Limestone County Schools employees who obtained National Board Certified Teacher status during a board meeting recently. Those recognized include:

Nicole Collins- Counselor, Elkmont High School
Sherry Wade- Counselor, Tanner High School
The National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) program is a voluntary, advanced teaching credential that goes beyond state licensure. The program certifies teachers who successfully complete its rigorous certification process. Teachers who achieve National Board Certification have met high standards through study, expert evaluation ,self-assessment, and peer review.
