We are kindly asking you to assist us with our attendance rate. Attendance is one of the components used to calculate our School Report Card Grade/Score. The attendance percentage/rate in grades K - 5 counts 15% of the grade. The state and federal government goal is 95% for all elementary schools. We did not meet the goal last school year with an attendance rate of 93.5%. Our report card score was 86. We could have earned a few more points if we had reached our goal. Other components are achievement and academic growth which counts 40% each toward the grade. We need to increase in these areas as well. Students will have the opportunity to increase achievement and academic growth if they are present at school. Our attendance goal for this school year is 96%. Please see the chart below to see the rate of your child’s grade level percentage to date.
